Anthology of Rural Life
The Anthology of Rural Life is a long-term collaborative project with fellow photographer Colin Robins.
The work provides a comparative visual study of the continuities and differences in patterns of life within contemporary rural areas. These in turn reflect shifting economic, social and cultural forces occurring in diverse European contexts.
The project has so far involved working within rural communities in south-west England, southern Finland, northern Italy and central Poland and the West Midlands.
